This little painting is based on a photo taken half-way on a walk along the length of Adelaide's metropolitan beaches - some 25km. The yachts at the Henley South Yacht club were preparing to set sail but I wondered how they would sail on such a calm day. It was interesting to see first-hand and in one day, the different types of beaches that are only a bus or train ride away. It's a walker's paradise at any time of year and in warmer months it offers recreation and coolness for thousands. This was the half-way point in the walk but already I was hobbling with blisters and more - got some great photos though!
