A study in clouds

This little study painting was completed with others during my SALA (South Australian Living Artists exhibition) at the Adelaide Cathedral. Not only was it a study painting but also valuable brush time in a place not normally associated with painting. Brush-time is the life-blood of artists - there is no progress without it. The painting is of no place inparticular but the sum of many beach scenes I have painted. It could be of a beach near you.

Congratulations on your new blog Mike; I look forward to popping in regularly to see your work. You've chosen a lovely study to get you started. Love those whispy clouds; perfect for an afternoon of laying back in the sun indulging in a little cloud watching.
