City rain

This little exercise in tonal work has been done with minimal brushwork and in a monotone. It really borders on being a watercolour painting as the canvas was sprayed with water before painting. Despite its lack of colour it does have a sense of atmosphere that will do well on a larger canvas. One of my favourites this one.
City rain - acrylic on canvasboard, 6"x4"
$200 + $10 postage worldwide.

You are getting better with each work. Love the almost abstract feel of this piece - I have to see it in reality. Maybe this Wednesday at the Love of Art?
