Encounter Bay sentinel

Victor Harbor is known for its many pine trees that line the shores. This particular one is a lone pine that stands halfway along Franklin Parade on Encounter Bay. Not only does it stand guard like a sentinal but it also marks the spot where the deli is and a few eating places where you can buy a coffee and a piece of cake that will send you home poor!
It was an unusual day with grey skies and rain - then the sun came out. It made for an interesting painting.
