I test the waters all over the place and entered this painting in the Fine Art Views - Bold Brush Painting Competition. It was awarded a finalists place as an Oustanding Acrylic. The painting can be seen live at Artworx Gallery, Hays St, Goolwa, South Australia.

From a fellow artist I just wanted to say what an amazing work "Yachts in a storm" is. Really fantastic work.

bravo!

I cannot believe this is acrylic painting. You are using the medium in a most excellent way.

You have to be good to get these results

You handle your edges so wonderfully. it makes me want to try acrylic landscape painting again.

I feel alive when I look at this painting, the wind is against my cheek with my hair blowing around and forming knots just as the sea spray taste makes me crave both adventure on the water and comfort in a beer and fried fish. This is how a painting should be - L. Chandler
